When I volunteered to host this event (before Covid,) immediately John jumped in to offer his help and support and I got to say he and his lovely wife’s contributions to this years event was a blessing! Of course my wife also was in there to help and support although she was not able to attend.
YOU ALL, made this years camp such a success even though we were small in numbers as evidenced in a monetary donation we as Crappie members will be making to Autism Anglers foundation of $692.00!
You may not have noticed as I was talking about what we raised, my voice cracked and a few tears came as I thought about how we/you came up in a big way to support a cause John and I felt strongly about raising money for!
Another big Thank You to Adrienne St. Vincent for the generous donation that we were able to use for the prizes to raffle off for Autism Anglers.
And of course thanks to my family members pitching in to assist us for the event.
I haven’t had a chance to count the additional money raised from the tournament and other raffle prizes but I will post that in a few days when the dust settles here
If anyone would like to post any pictures of the event I welcome that as well as any thing else you would like to share!
I apologize I took hardly any pictures....so please share yours and also if anyone would like to post winners and pictures that would be very welcomed!
