• The Freaky Frank’s Worm by Williams Smith

Hello, I’m William Smith, Pro-Staffer for Freaky Franks, and a Magnolia Crappie Club member. My primary style of fishing is Spider-Rig-Fishing. I fish the four COE Lakes in North MS. Regardless of the LiveScope Technology, Spider-Rig-Fishing is my favorite. My love for this technique is my love for using 16 different baits while presenting my lures to a 40-foot-wide swath of area at one time.

I recently teamed up with Freaky Franks Custom Tackle to see if their baits would work for my fishing style. Frank Smith, the owner of Freaky Franks, came across as a crappie fisherman like me. He’s an honest and down-to-earth person that will listen to anglers and their needs.
Frank is from Clarksville, IN, and he’s a fisherman. I think that’s the difference between most tackle vendors. He uses his products. He listens to his pro-staff and his customers. We’ve worked together to design baits and colors that catch these big MS crappies.
Freaky Franks offer everything a crappie fisherman can ask for, tubes, hair jigs, floats, jig heads, worms, spinners, scents, and apparel. Get this; their lures work on crappie, bluegill, walleye, sauger, or musky. It’s hard to have lures that catch many fish species and maintain a place in the crappie lure field. I think the secret is the Freaky Worm. Every lure company must have a signature product, and the Freaky Franks Worm is the hands-down best crappie-catching lure on the market.
The Freaky Worm is a high-quality soft plastic worm that Fish Just Can’t Resist! The spade shape tail is designed to trigger fish into striking and the slim bait profile works great when crappie are finicky. They offer a wide array of colors to meet different weather and water conditions. These options can be viewed via their website www.ffcustomtackle.com. Make sure to subscribe to their website because Freaky Frank’s emails product updates, special deals, and company announcements.

I could go through a lengthy dissertation about the colors and setups that I use, but that’s unnecessary for the avid fishermen. My job is to introduce you to a product that will put fish in the boat and weight on the scales. William Smith

There is no doubt in my mind that you could catch a bass or 2 with those worms too. That is of course if you wanted to.

Ordered a few just now. Gonna try em out this Spring during the spawn. Lookin' like my favorite place is gonna be lower water than usual so that'll mean more casting.
