• Small Potatoes...

after reading the results of Crappie Masters tournament. Couldn't get over their final 2 day weight (50 entries) of almost 900 lbs. taken as well as the (3) 3#ers, Was going to travel, but weather was suppose to be rainy further North & a touch windy South. So stayed local & got a early start on Jesup, still dark & w/4 of 10 poles just set out, a rod bends hard w/1st fish of the morning & it's a 14"er, well that's a good feeling. But the morning would change several times weather wise, couldn't escape the rain, bout 3 hrs & a wind direction change as well. Caught fish through it all, but see a definite shift in the open water fishing=most are on the move. Dark colors worked best on this overcast misty morning. Overall some good fish brought to the boat, however, "small potatoes" to those awesome St. John's beauties hauled in during that tournament......Also have the white pelicans starting to show up as seen out in front of the boat pic.
