• Harris Lake

I launched "The Fifth Element" into a placid, foggy Harris Lake this morning. It took me a little while to get my bearings...idling to a spot that produced last January. I found my first fish and zeroed in on a pattern at 9am. By 2pm, I had caught 30 over 11", none under 10", and seven over 1.75lbs. All fish caught between 21' and 27' deep...While all but one of today's catch were too tight to rocks to be charted by my rudimentary electronics, they were usually flanked closely by schools of inactive crappie suspended over deep water.

    All jigs No minnows

THAT is a great day! my buds are not doing much at griffin so glad to see your tearing them up in deep water at Harris! Did you hook into any of the big stripers I have heard about there?

If you keep that up you will need a bigger sink.
