• My Latest Generation Homemade Livescope Pole with Perspective Mount

So I'm building these for Saltwater Speckled Trout Angler friends of mine. I always have use of their equipment (keeps me from owning a 24-25ft center console) and wanted to "Give Back". They often give "New to Me" electronics as they upgrade, their upgrades are always serious. The 2.25in ball mount was a universal mount that I cut down on the miter saw, milled out the holes to accept the u-bolts, then paint the bare metal with epoxy black to touch up. When just moving from one bay to another the pole swivels up out of the way so you can run. When not in use it stows on a extra ball mounted on the T-Top with the wires coiling up and bungee to the pipe works. I used 1/2in convoluted tubing as a primary structural protection then sewn a marine vinyl sleeve that velcros over the tubing for looks as well as another layer of protection of the wires while on the deck.

You can see it has a Perspective Mount included. It's for looking in Bays for the Trout. Rojo Grande is my trademark brand of Rods & Flies. I'm retired, please don't get any ideas, I can't make a bunch of these, I crappie fish too much. LOL.
