• Sun, Wind, Rain, & Rainbows....

Yep, had all them conditions in a 3hr afternoon trip yesterday from 2:30-5:30 pm. The wind was the biggest nuisance, however, managed to boat a few good'uns between gust. They wanted to chew bubblegum as shown in the pic & caught the majority. Also noticed a change in the water temps, when washing down hands after handling, depth finder said 70F surface temp with the water turning over pretty good. About to crack that sixties mark that usually finds the fish stacking up in the lakes. Was going to give them all a pass, as the wife has stocked up & purchased (5) turkeys @ 49 cent a lb., but taught I'd make a call before releasing & they ended up going to good use. Looking out the window this morning the weather guessers appeared to have tricked me, oh well, the Xterra needs it's tune up, so it's into the garage....Get out & fill your nets guys, the time is right!

Where is Ginger and MaryAnn? Oh I see now, it was a 3 hour trip, not a 3 hour tour.
      Thanks for the report.
