• Tennessee Crappie with Cuonthelake.

I met Candi at Food City parking lot at 9:30 and we drove to Skull Island ramp and crappie fished until 12:00. We fished docks in the mid lake area and had fair success for the short time that we fished. 9 keepers and several short fish. Candi has a friend that wanted some fish, so we kept them for her. I’ll get them cleaned late this afternoon. They are on ice as we speak.

Lake temp was 70.6 and 31,000 cfs flow rate. Ghastly minnow, Lights Out Slab Slayers and a bone white/Chartreuse Crappie Magnet did a number on the fish. I tried a Bonehead tackle stump bug but it was not productive. We fished with 1/16 oz heads and the fish were under deep docks. No shallow fish showed up and we scanned several shallow docks.

I am including a couple of pics from yesterday’s trip with Jay W.
