Took a short trip to the lake Saturday morning to get out from under the wife’s feet, she insisted so I obliged. Water levels and temperatures have been falling, opposite for a typical Spring Time pattern, and the fish seem a little discombobulated also. Bobby Garland Baby Shad in Blue Ice on a 1/32oz jig head fished anywhere from 4-24ft convinced several to bite, and 5 nice ones were invited home for supper. Brush seemed to be the key, with 62 degree water temps they have been set back a little, maybe hunkering down waiting for the second warm up. Two weeks ago the exact same spots were 67 degrees and some Tango was taking place.

3 Whites over 2 Blacks, Queens over Kings, a nice Poker hand. I will take that Full House anytime. Stay safe out there.
