• A few crappie on Roadrunner.

    I always start with Roadrunner as search bait. Once I find them I’ll determine if the bite on deep or shallow. Today is another day that roadrunner work. Caught a few crappie, 2 bass and mystery big fish that pull drag hard for 10-15 second until I lost it after set the drag a little more. The bad part is I broke my favorite rod. It is Shimano Crucial Dropshot special Gen1 about 8-10 years old but better than a lot of modern rods these days.

      WTG. Personally I've never had any luck fishing with roadrunners. But its most likely because I don't fish them properly.
