Stats first. Water temp 51 degrees. Water flow 75,000 cfs. Weather, cloudy with short periods of rain showers. Company, only one guide boat and he stayed away from us. I like it like that. Grin.

Dr Phil and I Landed 7 Striped bass, 3 big White bass, and 3 pet Drums. Grin. Phil had a Striper break his line because the drag was too tight, but he learned his lesson and I had to show him again how to tie a Palomar knot.

We had two Stripers apiece and had called our last drift, but on that drift, I changed my presentation and caught a Striper. Boat rule says that you can’t quit on a caught fish, so another drift was in order. I caught another Striper on that drift. We made two or three more drifts and I caught our final fish. One last fishless drift and we put boat on trailer and headed toward Chattanooga.
