Never fails to pick a windy day to fish. Uncle Remus said he was thinking and that was all it took for us to plan a trip. Met up at Buster Boyd ramp at 8:30 and went south of the bridge. We managed to stay in the right depth for a while and picked up several good crappies. Then the wind go so bad we moved and for sure we thought it was a bad choice but then we picked up one here then one there. Total caught was 26 and brought 22 home for the ride. Only one perch today and that was so nice not to have the them bother us. Depth was 15 to 22 foot tight lines slow if there was such a thing. Wind got so bad that the rods were lifting out of the cradle of the rod holders. Surly a blistering day but it was all grins at the ramp we preparing to home. Thanks Uncle Remus for letting me drive the boat while you fished. Only fooling you. I caught three of the crappies with two being thrown back! Only to pictures today for my hands were on the remote and holding my hat...
