• Long lining in the mud

Well, the lake is still pretty much mud after all this rain, but having the crappie virus, I had to give it a shot. Water temp was 46 where I started and things were real slow. I fished till I was about over the whole ordeal and was fixing to throw in the towel. By obervation, I noticed as I was getting closer to the main lake the water temp was rising. It rose up to 53 degrees and the bite rose with it as well. Well enough to get a limit before heading on in.

Nice! Good to see it worked out for you. I find I usually can't find a fish under 50 degree water temp.
