• Average day on the pond @ LP

Lots of fish but not what I really want. Every outing involves several drops or break offs now - getting frustrated. Changing lines on all the reels. Thinking about going to a bigger hook - a #4 for Bluegill. Today I watched a toad CNBG spit out a jig right at the boat. It's the ones you don't see that get you.
Still trolling - did do some casting with the Crostage (caught last fish of the day) - definitely going to get the 7'6". Had 2 doubles today where I had to get one to the boat ASAP - stick the rod in a holder (Dorado style) - turn the boat to deep water - then fight the 2nd fish. Chaos!

This old Elvis was a ton of fun on the new JDM rod.
