• I was being watched !

No, I'm not paranoid, but one of our resident Bald Eagles was takin a keen interest in my activities the other day. He/she was eyeballin me for a good 30 minutes a few mornings ago, while I got into some bluegill over some brush I sank a few weeks ago, in 15ish FOW.

I was throwin a flashy, minner color slider, with a 1/16 oz chartreuse jig head, on 4 lb mono, from a 8' Crappie Max rod, and Tiny Lite reel.

Only got into about a dozen or so, but had an awesome time putting on a show for this hungry bird.

2 or 3 fish in, I musta dribbled some fish slime on the camera lens, as most of the pics were unusable !

    Thanks for lookin.

Awesome, Gills are my favorite. They are just hard to find when water temps are close to 90 and the levels are falling.

Awesome, your pictures paint a very clear picture.

While fishing Enid Lake, Ms. a month ago. I saw a eagle pick a fish from the lake and took it home for dinner.

Eagles are always a highlight of my clients' day on KY and Barkley. Nice mess of gills.

Love to catch bream, maybe because that's how my Mom taught me to fish about 60 years ago... so much fun either way! Looks like you had a majestic symbol of my country looking over you while you fished. Great photos!
