• Which way?

Not sure what direction to take. Only crappie we are seeing are on deep brushpiles. I know that so many of you are finding them on water shallower than that but we repetitively check most of ours every other trip, or so. We catch a half dozen then they clam up and will not bite anything. The ones we catch are beautiful and fat. Just not many of them. Trying jigs from 1/32d to 1/8th, different colors, crappie nibbles, minnows on bare hooks, etc. water temp is 85 degrees which is hot for out lake. Temps on the water has been over 100 degrees for several days and more to come. Guess we may try one of three other lakes in central Texas but sure hate to leave our home lake. Here is what we are catching.

it's a puzzle and sometimes moving to different water can be the cure to your Thump Fever.

stick and move as my bud Sk often says bro . after 5 minutes or so without a bite move , summer fish seem to be such that not sitting still in one spot for long is key to a box full
