• WARNING !

I love to see people ketch crappie . But be cautious with what you leave behind . No matter what methods you employ there is NO excuse for leaving BRAID hanging around and or any other line . That and the used minnow bags and the sinkers and cigarette buts and etc etc etc .
BUT Braid particularly bothers me in that someone or some wildlife could be very seriously injured . Imagine your child getting this length of braid around its neck and stumbling and falling . I am about fuming MAD over seeing this and it was at head high in a large amount hanging in such a manner that a child could have easily gotten tangled in it . This coupled with the particular spot and knowing lots of children fish there with parents REALLY bothers me ! this pc. was much longer than it appears in the photo .
I removed it and put it in the trash where it belongs and now ….
I NEVER look for a fight but to be sure if I see you do this and we are going to have a major problem quickly !
    rant over

Agree with you Ketchn, it is a problem all over with people leaving line, hooks and even jigs or used worn out jigs on he ground at public fishing areas. Bait containers along with soda bottles and cans line some of the banks. If you bring it in take it out!

Trashy people are everywhere. Thanks for looking out for others. Good things will come back to you for being a caring outdoorsman.

It's not just in fresh water either. I scuba dive and have been tangled in fishing line at depth before. It would have been a life or death situation if I hadn't had a knife with me. Trash of any kind left behind is never acceptable.

I was shocked at the trash, fishing line, and cooler parts I saw on a recent trip. Really
