Water temp started out at 70 and by noon was 74.5. Water pure muddy, wood and moss floating everywhere. Dead, calm as I needed a ripple as fish were slow hitting cranks. Spent half the morning pushing new square bill crankbaits from PICO then switched to long lining as fish were pretty tight lipped. It’s never a good time to fish when you can still see the moon all morning setting in the West sky or a dead calm piece of water with little to no wind at all. Caught maybe 40 fish and released all as didn’t need any to keep. Here a pic of a square Bill crankbait.
