Marty thank you so much for heading up our gathering and to Dwyane your right hand man. Y'all did a terrific job on the fish and tators. It was a small group but a swell group. We had some great new members join in which really made it nice.
I am especially indebted to Meaux and his lovely wife Diane for putting us up, a couple of strangers, at their cabin on the lake on Friday night. We had a terrific time visiting, breaking bread with them at Pepe's and riding on their pontoon boat which was a first for Linda and I. We also got to watch Diane catch all the fish when she predicted that she wouldn't catch any. Also thanks Chip for offering us a place to lay our heads Friday but we had already made other arrangements.
I also want to thank Bob for his continued support and jigs, and to Mid South for their support and products. Y'all a great group of people. Thank you Slab for the shirts for Linda and I, she really liked that pink one. Sorry we didn't get to take pictures in them but we had a little problem with planning. Dwyane tried to post pictures of my new fishing shirt but his phone was giving him trouble so he took pictures with mine which I will post shortly along with a few other photos.
We battled another bad weather scenario at the Bend. Seems like the Crappie spirits plan something new for us each year. I can't wait to see what's in store for next year. Maybe we can find a way to appease them. But no matter what happens we have a great time, the best of times.
Thank everyone for coming and looking to see y'all next year,

The clowns.

And last a picture of me coming
