• A late Gaston Report

    Late report for Lake Gaston. Me and Gene went last Wednesday, the weather was perfect, high near 70, little to no wind. Ended up catching 34 crappie with 32 being 10+ inches, Gaston don't seem to have too many small crappie. Water temp, 62. Lots of 1lb fish, biggest was 1-1/2lbs. All fish caught on jigs either casting, shooting, or jigging. All fish released. As usual me and Gene laughed allot and enjoyed our time together. Can't wait to go again!
