• Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay

    I dragged my kayak into Limestone Creek and fished the North end of Limestone Bay today. Kept half a limit for dinner tomorrow and returned about the same number of keepers. Numerous small Crappie, bass and gills were also returned. Best bait was a 1/32oz spinner with a 1" slider grub in black and yellow. The water was clear with visibility of about 18 inches and 58 degrees.

      That is a colorful box of fishies! We no not have those perch looking things in our local lakes, or at least I have never caught one. Good report!
