Gary aka Biofisher, went fishing with me this morning. We had our 8 keepers by 8 am and after that it was nothing but short fish along with a couple of spotted bass and one small Largemouth.
Everyday we are getting farther away from the good New Moon phase and the good trips. Bites were not aggressive and the fish were very picky and slow to bite. We caught some nice keeper fish but nothing over 12.5” today.
A slight north wind wind that picked up the later that it got in the morning and TVA increased the flow rate as well made the off shore fishing that we were doing a little difficult.
Water temp when when we stopped a little after ten was 86.3 degrees. I was glad that Gary has a nice mess of crappie to eat now. He said that he has this week and next week before he is tied up at school and won’t be able to fish until October. He is a teacher at Central High School.
