    Hit the lake today around 7:45 am. Should have started at 5:30 am. In the first hour could not keep the cranks in the water. Mostly 9” crappie but still fun by 10:30 there were a ton of big boats running around and the bit stopped. Took a break for Few hours then hit it again around 2:00 but still too many big boats. I knew it would be busy on the lake but I still had a great day. Kept 13 crappie most around 10” and one at 12”. Bonus fish too!




    Nice 19” walleye to throw in there.

      Sounds like a great morning! I've found that the bite up in my neck of the woods, tends to decrease significantly after 10 am. May not be due to increased boat traffic, rather maybe just because they go deep to stay cool?
