Billbob, PICOs, and Slab Sauce on the Cat today!

I met Billbob at 6:30 am this morning and off we went long lining, planer boarding, and pushing PICOs and just for giggles, Billbob had to a Mad Clown crankbait mixed in with Slab Sauce lathered on. Today was as perfect you would want as it was light cool breeze out of the NE, totally clouded over, air temp 67, water temp 81.5 and perfect color, and very few fishermen as well as no pleasure boaters either. Spent the next 5.5 hours catching 60-70 fish keeping 16 between 10 to 12” and releasing lots of 9”s as well as a few 10” even. Best colors were wolverine, zombie, simply awesome, Grenada green, Ojay, and Bone Orange. Fish all caught with crankbaits running,between 5 to 12’ deep in 8’ to 20’ of water and best speeds today was 1.7 to 1.8 mph. Here’s a few pics for you to enjoy.
