• Lake Tholocco Crappie

The wife and me have a nice routine going. We both work on Fort Rucker. Given the nice weather and DST, we drag the boat to work with us and a change of clothes. After work, we make the short jaunt to the lake for a 1.5-2 hour trip. The evening bite has been pretty consistent catching anywhere between 5-15 in the short time before dark. We have been pleasantly surprised Witt the size of the crappie this year - not bigguns but good eaters. The past two years we were fortunate to get 10-11” inch fish. These are the kind of crappie we are catching this year.

Good fish there, Man. Around here, we call em "footballers" because they're just about the size of a Nerf football. You're right....they're good eaters!

Anyone have a map of the lake when it was drained or being built back in 2000?
