• Fall bite is on so get out on the water soon

    Went this morning and caught a limit. Cool this morning 47° and the water temp. was in the 60's with a light wind from the Southwest. Got on the water at 7:00am and came out at 10:00am. Fish were in 13'-16' water 7'-8' deep caught them on minnows and key lime pie shad jigs 1/16oz. tipped with chartreuse nibbles. I fish Archusa Lake in Quitman, MS. and usually post on the Mississippi forum but figured I post on main forum today so to get others informed that the fall bite is on. Caught a (30 crappie limit) and 2 bass. Looking forward to seeing everyone's fall reports and pictures.
