• Best part of crappie.com? New fishing buddies

    Barry G and I had serious Thump deficit so we hit Mark Twain lake. Bymo had been there earlier in week w his wife and friends and had caught lots of crappie, smooth water and few other boats. When we hit water lots of boats and hi winds and waves couldn't easily fish where they did. Tough all morning few keeper fish till lunch. Then we found calm water out of wind and bite turned on! With fee trees to hit we started ketchn one after another. Had our limit in short time. Was great to finally meet Barry who lives close to me and get our thump on!

      I have made so many friends through crappie.com it's unreal. Fishermen are the best, especially crappie fishermen.

      Very nice, I wish I had a friend or 2 to fish with me around Bartlett, TN. I fish a lot, year round. State lakes and big 4. I am retired and really like to have someone with me. I am 70 and in fair to good shape, with a nice boat. I have 3 great friends here but they work and or can't a lot. I fish for fun, not to run up a record catch or bragging rights, just enjoy catching Crappie and keeping only a few. Although I catch my share.

      thanks for the posts and as I met a couple of my wives online, this is a similar deal, except with crappie involved as a bonus! Have met some terrific folks willing to lay some knowledge on you and take you out to show you how it's done. Go CDC and thanks Slab for providing this wonderful forum.

      I even found the perfect fishing pontoon on here after searching craigslist for 6 months! truly multi purpose site!

      hdhntr, my son (Montanaboy) gets up to Twain from St. Louis once in a while, and he often fishes with guys he has met on CDC. If you are ever looking for company to make the trip, you might pm him.
