Well.....my good buddy Bj and I had the same day off which only happens about 4x a year so we decided to deploy the ole spider! Heck who cares if it is supposed to rain/sleet/snow with Gail force winds! We thot surely we would zero.....but hey at least we ought to have the lake to ourselves! We graphed around and was in no hurry and finally found a pretty good school of fish stacked up. Dropped the spider on em and was just getting bit every now and then. At 2:30pm we had 28 and I told Bj we r leaving at 30 fish n the boat or 3:00pm. The same fish we had been fishing over just started a feeding frenzy!!!!! By 3:00pm we had 42 n the boat with a 2-man limit in the next hour and a half to follow! Man we had a blast! We were not however the only boat on the water. One fellow boated up to us and we talked a bit while fish alongside of each other. Man bad days like today can be GREAT days fishing! If you would have asked me if I thought we were gonna catch fish I would have said "NOPE". Goes to show you have to have your hook n the water and not in the recliner! We were cold to the bone by the time it was over but our addiction to the pole bending kept us out there!
Sorry guys no no action photos because of rain and sleet.
