• Tuff Week

Sunday before last I moved the camper to a spot reserved for Mike Robinson, aka "Mr. Goodtime". Pulling up to that site and seeing his name on the post ripped my heart out again. He had reserved the spot for the whole week of camp so he would be there to greet folks as they arrived, he never met a stranger and these camps were a favorite time of the year for him. We had his memorial service exactly 5 months prior to the Saturday gathering and this weighed heavy on me all week.
He was everywhere this past week as he is most of the time, I find myself talking to him often and most to the time wiping the tears off my cheeks. Cray and I shared a day on the water and I really enjoyed it, quite often talking about Goodtime. "Friends" like him just don't come along too often but I am so thankful to have called him my friend.
The highlite of the week for me was Ms. Tammy and I getting to share the weekend with Ms. Goodtime, not sure how I would have handled these last several months without her. She is an awesomely strong woman and has become a very close friend as well.
Thanks to everyone here for your love and support for us, you will never know how much it has meant to us.
Spending time enjoying and fellowshipping with the folks at camp was a boost I needed even though there was a void that I feel may never be filled again. We miss ya bro, RIP Mr. Goodtime, gone but never forgotten.
Like to thank Slab for providing this site for us to meet such wonderful people, people that have been a major part of our staying afloat the last 5 months.
He is sitting here behind someone he thought a lot of, ole Rusty.

I have missed a good one. When people I respect speak this highly of someone, I pay attention. May he rest in peace, and I'm sorry for the loss of a good friend. Those are very hard to come by.

      Hold onto the memories.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts.
And we are never, ever the same.
      Good memories will last forever.

At times a heavy heart can be a blessing Mr. Guide, pulls at a humane factor unexplained that draws the ones around us even closer, special people do this best, prayers Ms. Goodtime continues to make it through another day.
