• Big Lake - Father son trip

    My dad and I made a trip out to Big Lake on Monday afternoon to start the week off and then again on Friday to finish off the week. We caught a limit of shrimp and crabs on Monday and a limit of shrimp and 4 dozen crabs on Friday. Here are the pictures.

      I kept the stingrays b/c I heard they were good to eat. After cleaning both of these and not getting enough meat to fill up 1 hand, I have decided not to waste my time cleaning any more unless they are at least double the size of these two. Hate killing something that doesn't provide enough food to make it worth it. From now on they will be returned to the water unharmed.

      Spend as much time with your dad as you possibly can. I am now 65 and my dad died when I was just 21. I would give my soul just to go fishing with him one more time.
