• Driftmaster Best Advice Contest - 4 of 9 Runner Ups

Read everything that you can on CRAPPIE.COM. You will learn a ton of information.

If you are new, start small and don't go buy everything that is out. I would start with a simple rod and reel, nothing fancy.

Fish with minnows until you get the hang of catching.

When jigging, raise your rod tip very slow about an inch at a time and wait for a hit.

billyoungb, please PM me (Slab) your mailing address and shirt size and you'll receive your runner up prize package of Crappie.com goodies and Bobby Garland goodies. Thank you Driftmaster and Bobby Garland for your ongoing support of Crappie.com. Crappie.com sponsors and members are the best.
