We pulled cranks for two days with just a dozen fish to show for our efforts and fuel. Lost a few lures to new snags that had washed in, should have trailered to Green to chase the big whites staging in open water. The small channel cats were thick on some of my waypoints so we switched gears on Memorial Day and changed the boat around for a different kind of fishing in the river away from the boat traffic. The rain didn't stop until afternoon but it didn't keep the wife from showing me up as usual.
