• New to the forum and wanted to say thanks - a Conway limit the hard way.

I have been reading on here for about a year now and have finally become a member. Saturday I caught a limit on conway. There is no way I could have done this without the helpful post of crappie pro and arkansasbow hunter. I read crappiepros last post and saw he was using the midsouth 1000 jigs so I picked some up. I also read the post where arkansasbowhunter talked about trimming your jig into a stinger or a split tail.

Well I headed to the 89 bridge Saturday around noon and tied on a midsouth jig and cut it into a split tail and also tried one untrimmed.I caught a few on the untrimmed but most on the trimmed split tail. Well long story short I saw only two other boats catch one crappie a piece but I was able to put a limit in the boat. So thank yall for sharing yalls expertise on how to catch'm, you definitely helped me catch some fish!

I went yesterday but only caught 13. I feel I could've finished out my limit but my line got caught in my trolling motor and I wasn't paying attention and ended up hitting a bridge piling and fell in.

So if any of you saw that please tell me you got it on video[emoji23] .......I didn't quit fishing though. I climbed back in and went back to it. I did end up leaving a little earlier than planned because I got cold. Anyways thanks again for the helpful post everyone! Here is the only pic I got of them

That's dedication, fishing after getting wet in the winter. Good job on the fish, you'll be teaching others before you know it.
