Had a great day on Lake Conway today in the rain. Just a slow steady rain and not one lightning bolt all day. I decided to stay and fish on. For a time it was just me and one other boat and then just me. I boated 33 fish today and had a limit by 1 PM kept fishing and culled a few. Every fish came off brush and they were deep up in it. I know their is at least two other slobber knockers swimming around out there with my jig in their nose as they broke me off deep in the brush. It was a strange feeling looking across the lake and not seeing another boat. I can't stop making them bite the Midsouth 1000C (A Great Tube) Chart with a white core and silver metal flake. Water Temp was 57 degrees. Guys they only get bigger from here on out as they put on weight for the winter and develop their eggs. Now is the time to get out and start looking for the crappie of your life. Tight Lines.
