Needed these Yesterday

Fished the Truman Crappie.com tournament or should I say Dexter and I donated our money. We caught three nice ones in the first 15 minutes and then it was a tough go for us. We had three that would go a poumd a piece but you better have 7 over a pound just to show. Hooked up with Long poler and Wyatt for a BBQ, camp fire and some cold one on Friday night. Dexter and I tried to get Wyatt to let us in on some fishing tips for in the morning but got nothing. Dexter even tried to bribe him a big snickers candy bar of which you see in his boat but still couldn't get him to spill the beans. I have been lucky enough to have been able to fish with some of the CDC members and every one been first class. I would suggest that you fish with other people because everyone fishes different and if you can learn one or two things it will make you that much of a better fisherman. Drove home last night and fished Lake St Louis this morning from 8:30 - 12:00 (three and a 1/2 hour tour). Caught some nice fish and it didn't take long to find the pattern. Caught five over one pound with the biggest a 1.21 lbs. Let the five big ones go after the picture. The fall bite should be picking up.
