Took my crappie fishing mentor DK fishing Tuesday am, picked the perfect day, full moon, cloudy, not much wind, water temps 83. Deep Dock shooting at it best, that being 15-20 FOW docks with lots of cover all around, and some having brush piles close with blowdowns. We managed 40 keeper crappie, 10 throw backs (almost unheard of with the local reports). All black crappie except for the 40th keeper catch being a white crappie. It was an amazing day, and fun to "show off" with the person that taught me most about jig fishing. We uses 1/32 jigs all dressed in BG plastics, for some reason the 1/16 where just too fast of a presentation for them. Thanks again DK for riding along and all the wisdom!
