    Nah. I use bait as a last resort usually. We tried lots of things b4 switching to worms. Worms work fine, the lake is brutal hot and windy!

    red ear in these parts like a tipper on the jig , and to make it more interesting one thing we have noticed lately on them is their ability to hunt down a bait moving along at a pretty good pace .
