    Default vacation question

    Hello guys,

The wife and I are talking about vacation ideas for 2020, and Colorado came up as a strong possibility. We are thinking about flying into Denver and staying there a couple days and maybe the Breckenridge area the rest of that week. I see you have plenty of awesome fishing, but maybe not a lot of crappie fishing? Are there any lakes near Breckenridge with a crappie population?

Thanks for any time you have!

Nt sure about that area as i am new myself, moved from sc, but may to mid july is great on pueblo reservoir for night fishing. Let me know when you visit and maybe i can get you out for some. Joe is north pf denver so we would be able to talk those lakes. You can catch 100 crappie a night at john martin but all pretty small.

Thanks for the reply, and generous offer! We are leaning towards October time frame. I’m honestly not certain I’ll be able to get away to fish for sure, just figuring I would check on the options. I tries doing searches online for the lakes near Breckenridge to see if they even had any crappie in them and didn't get far.

Thank you again for your time!

As far as searching for looks, download the colorado cpw app from the app store. It is an interactive map and will tell you what species are in the marked bodies of water.
