flathead Catfish

I am new to the Elizabeth City area and was wondering if there is any flatheads around that area? Is there any around the Edenton area. I have never caught one and would like to to try. Thanks.

not sure if new york even has flathead catfish is me , never seen a flatty till i went south of the mason dixon line , just saying

I have a house just outside of Weeksville and spend about 10 months a year down there. If I had my way I would be down there year around, but the wife cant leave the grand kids that long. And there sure is no flatheads up here, just bullhead. Thanks for the reply!
