I will measure the holes in mine, and let you know.If I remember correctly,I made mine to seep out a bait cloud / scent cloud vs actually allowing the bait to escape, this in my opinion would keep fish at the chum pipe longer. If the bait could escape, too quickly, the target fish would soon disparate once the bait was gone......just my feeble opinion.

The Channel edges are not working rite now as the Cats have moved shallow to Spawn .. Fishing Boathouses most Have nothing in the gut at all and the fish have lost weight.. those that bit 8 out of 10 fish got off at the net, none had took the hook deep .. when the water gets hotter the Cats will relocate deeper at cooler water has good Oxygen

We usually dump 5 gallon buckets of soured grain on stumps or creek ledges in the lake . I like to bait more than one spot . If I can't visit a spot ever day or two , we have drilled a 5 gallon bucket full of small holes or burlap bag. Then fill with soured grain and a good sized rock . You can tie on a long line and jug to retrieve so as to refill . Also scatter loose grain on that spot when you can fish . But if you can be there ever day or two just scatter loose grain forget the bag or bucket . Seems like the longer I bait the more Catfish stack up . My favorite grain is Wheat or cooked white rice if I can find scrap rice . Another option and clean is cattle cubes or Sweet feed pellets like you feed horses . Just pour in dry . We do this ever summer with great results .
