Some of you may know that the Oklahoma Lake records website isn't working and has not for some time now. I was able to get a hold of the ODW keeper of records and find out what the records actually are for some of the major lakes in Oklahoma that I fish. Here are those records and the contact info for the keeper should any of you wish to inquire about lake records for other Oklahoma Lakes not listed here.

Here is what is currently listed as Lake Records in the database:


Flathead Catfish – Kaw lake – Unrestricted = 78.0 pounds, trotline
Flathead Catfish – Kaw lake – Rod and Reel = no fish entered
Blue Catfish – Kaw lake – Unrestricted = no fish enetered
Blue Catfish – Kaw lake – Rod and Reel = 65.9 pounds, rod & reel

Flathead Catfish – Eufaula lake – Unrestricted = 68.6 pounds, jugline
Flathead Catfish – Eufaula lake – Rod and Reel = 53.3 pounds, rod & reel
Blue Catfish – Eufaula lake – Unrestricted = 95.5 pounds, jugline
Blue Catfish – Eufaula lake – Rod and Reel = 48.1 pounds, rod & reel

Flathead Catfish – Tenkiller lake – Unrestricted = 45.0 pounds, limbline
Flathead Catfish – Tenkiller lake – Rod and Reel = no fish entered
Blue Catfish – Tenkiller lake – Unrestricted = 54.0 pounds, jugline
Blue Catfish – Tenkiller lake – Rod and Reel = 47.0 pounds, rod & reel


The minimum weight for a lake record flathead or blue catfish is 40 pounds.
