Thread: To early to start

jugging for catfish in Arkansas?

Looks like a nice weekend coming up and I think I get a chance to go try it. But I have never jugged this time.

Summer time, no problem. 3 -5 ft deep and live bream and a single hook.

Do you fish deep with 2 or 3 hooks with a weight on the bottom?

We ran some yo-yos on Lake Conway, last Monday we caught mostly blue's and channels on minnows about 3 ft deep. Nothing would even touch the minnow unless it was at least that deep.
