Where’s the best place to fish for crappie, bluegill, trout in NorCal when it is going to be 100 degrees by noon?

In Oklahoma we hit the water at 0525, off by 0930.
Best advice I have for dealing with the heat.
Wish I had some pertinent info, but that’s all I got.

Very good advice. The only other thing I have found is to go deeper. Might catch the bluegills in the shallows in July, but the trout seem to disappear from July until October, at least in the lakes I fish most often.

I suppose sticking to the cold tailwaters below the dams is another strategy.

But I am hoping someone might divulge their secret honey holes for July and August fishing.
