    FISHED UP AT THE LAKE TODAY SITTING ON 30 FOW..
    DEADSTICKING WAS THE WAY..
    CURLY TAIL GRUBS BY KALINS WERE THE TICKET....

    Nice slabs man. I lived in Moorpark for a while, and used to love to fish Piru. Back then I fished mostly green carp, but loved the Crappie.

    Lived in Oxnard for 23 yrs. Fished some at Piru, but didn't know it was that good of a Crappie fishery. Great report and pic's. I missed some good fishing there

    Bumping an older thread.

    How's the fishing out there now?

    I went there last week to test out my new to me aluminum boat and it seemed like the lake was super low and all the recommended "coves" were none existent.

    Any advice?
