Default Raptors vs Powerpoles vs Talons

I'm in the beginning process of mounting 2 Raptors on my SeaArk replacing one Talon...... just having a short flash of doubt.....are the Raptors a sturdy, reliable anchor system for shallow lakes ? It appears the Raptors have same attachment holes as the Talons which make it a smooth switch over

I'm surprised at the lack of responses on this issue. I was interested myself......??
I have a 10' Powerpole on my 25' Epic bay and it holds well. I did have an issue last year where one of the hydraulic hoses blew out at the pump and made a mess. Even though it was out of warranty, my call for support parts ended up getting me everything to get it back in operation for free! I was pleasantly surprised.

I’d love to have either, but as low in the water as my Tracker sits, I’d be afraid it would be just to heavy! I’ve considered the micro anchor tho!

How did you mount them on your SeaArk? I have a Big Easy myself and would love to add them one day.

I Bought the factory bracket and welded it onto the float pod…..I already had one mounted for aTalon that I took off the boat. I was able to mount the Raptor and keep my ladder on the float pod

It would be a couple years before I do it but that was my concern about putting it on the float pod and blocking the ladder. We love to use the boat as a pleasure boat in the summer so that could be a problem. I wondered also if it is possible to mount them at the motor mount like they do on bass boats without the float pods interfering.

dealer warned me to keep the Raptors away from the motor , if possible( so now the boarding ladder is on the inside of the Raptor closer to the motor. I have a jackplate but couldnt accommodate mounting the Raptors on it.

Question : can powerpole drift paddles be used on Raptors without major re-engineering ?
