Thread: Which pontoon

I would love a fishing pontoon also but at my age hauling and launching would be a concern as would be the cost of off season storage.

Boat ramp is about 3 miles away from the house. It would take some cleaning and rearranging but it would fit in the pole barn when not in use. I will keep the 175 Pro Team tracker for when it is just me. Between step youngins,neices and nephews I should be able to find a crew( I hope)

19-20 ft dedicated fishing machine. But I get the feeling you kinda handy with tools.

Given the time I can build most things I need to build. I looked at the toons really good as I was shooting under them last Friday. I am thinking dedicated fishing machine, or buying the bones, building the center console, repower and let it go at that. Moveable seating seems to be the ticket.

I watched a commercial the other day on the Seadoo switch pontoon. Completely customizable seating that locks down in the floor. Pretty neat concept at least. Gives a fella ideas

I did not. Figured it would be more than I wanted to load and unload by myself. Youngins are always busy. So a smaller boat worked just fine. Maybe in the future

Same here, sold my pontoon after 10 years and went back to 16 ft deep V that I can load/unload all by myself. Tiller steer really helps and replaced my guide on's with some taller ones helped alot also.
