    Default Tinkering.....

Second to fishing one of my favorite things to do is tinker with my boat .... new gadgets small things that are not too expensive making (or having things made) to make things a little more comfortable or convenient while I'm on the water
Below are a few thing I have made, have had made or bought that make me happy

What kind of things have you done that have made you happy .... little thing that you feel makes your boat yours (and i dont mean new high tech graphs or trolling motors unless it's an accessory for them)

Built or bought what's on your boat that make it more comfortable, more convenient or just makes you happy

I just inherited a mig welder, my pocket book and imagination will be the limiting factors ! I'm thinking trailer steps(with a handle?) . Gonna wait till I launch/load a few times, see where I want them.
On tinyboatnation, he made some power poles, with linear actuators. I really want to make those.
Put reverse lights on your trailer! So far, it's the best thing I've done to a trailer.
Will be putting a remote drain plug in this boat.
    Drinkin coffee, missin fish.

No pictures but I installed two battery boxes that really cleaned up my bilge/battery area. I also installed the rod saver things for my running lights so they were in a safe but handy to access place. I pulled the floor and foam under the floor a few years back and installed hydro turf. That stuff is amazing and can't say enough good things about it.

Next on my list is to add some aluminum channel support along the back bench and make some lids to further cover the bilge area and increase the usability of the back deck.
