    Default LiveScope install

Hey all. So I am going to install a LiveScope transducer to a pole mount I made. I need to drill a hole in the gunwale to run the cable how I want it. My question is, what is the piece called I would want to put over the hole I drill to round the edges and protect the cable? A bushing? Grommet?

Second question, there is a hole drilled already where the precious graph wiring went through. This hole has a screwed down cable router/protector already there but I may need to make the hole bigger for the new wires. I just can’t for the life of me find what these things are called or a good site to buy them from.

Thanks sorry for the long post.

Go to Westmarine website. Look for wiring protector, wiring grommet or just call or email them. They can probably help you out. They carry tons of stuff for marine applications.

You may want to check your local hardware store as well. My local Ace has grommets back in the specialty nuts and bolts area.

Probably at some point this summer I will but needed to come up with something for the time being. I actually didnt end up having to drill a hole. The front deck of my boat has a very small cover cap that I have never investigated since Ive owned it. I took it off and there was an existing hole to use already so I went that route and will just put the cover back on when I end up switching boats.
