He did, I think he said he tried 3 different props. Even took it back to the manufacturer.

I do not remember, whether it was new or not. Would need to get ahold of Lowe Rider for that.
Jim did say the factory changed the mounting height for the engine. Also, moved some or all of the batteries forward, in the boat.

It’s a 2007 Lowe 170 or 175 with a 75hp Optimax motor. It was the first year for that hull and a lot of them had porpoising issues. The factory played around with it but didn’t really help it. He also had trim tabs welded on the bottom and tried various props and we experimented with the jackplate.
He bought it from an older man that only used it on a small lake and probably never really opened it up. I doubt he even knew the boat had an issue. I would be surprised if the motor even has a hundred hours on it.
If it were mine I think I’d try to add a little more metal to the tabs and maybe grind off a little at a time until I found the sweet spot between porpoising and plowing.

Right , wrong, or otherwise - the splashwell is out. I set the top cap down, it fit ALOT better. I had too do some trimming of the "floor flange" on the starboard side. Under driver's seat, console, and along the headwall of the front deck, in front of the console. I got that support a little high. The port side is good.
I was desperately wanting this test fit, as when I put in the supports, it was pretty much, a shot in the dark. I did some measuring before I removed what was left of the old stuff. However, most had rotted out.

Electrical question - fuse block with separate switches? Or push button breaker by each switch? Pro's \ Con's? Up to this point, I was thinking fuse box. Went to a boat show today, several had push button breakers by the switches. Hadn't even thought about reset buttons. The boat will be a total rewire.
On a separate note, they had vexus their, the price was over $100k ! ! ! For a 20 something foot boat!! Unreal.
