    Thanks!
I noticed I Didn't get boards for the deck extension lined up good. So ripped them out, again, 5th time ? ? ? Started putting them back in.
Hopefully, I can get that redone, front and rear deck glassed in, then start making the new lids for the new storage boxes.
A good friend gave me some aluminum (from a project he was scrapping), gonna attempt to make the lids out of that. Need to make a "brake" first, so I can bend the lips.

My proposal for deleting the splashwell. It's rough, I know.
I thought about having it a little lower towards the front, if so it would be about an inch lower. I thought if it was as high as possible, it would help to prevent more backwash.
I plan on cutting in an access hole, with a cover plate. Similar too what some ranger glass boats have.

    Thoughts?

I went with the above way of the splashwell. Its glassed in now.I put a layer of 1708, with polyester resin, on the front and rear decks. To no avail. It pulled up. UUGGGHHHH. Not sure if the resin was to old, it didn't want to stick to the paint id put on the decks? So, I'll go without it. Not enough glass or resin left to redo it. The decks are glued down with PL glue, screws in a couple spots, and peanut buttered in along the edges. A friend called, said he had some time to weld on the trailer. I took the boat off, took the trailer over, he welded up a couple cracks. While the boats off, I'm gonna switch gears, and rework the trailer. Everything is off the trailer. It will get new -- bunks- wire- lights- backup lights- winch/strap- paint- rollers- tires (3each)Ive already repacked the hubs, had the winch stand re-straightend and beefed up, bought all but one part. Which leads to this question :Does anyone have a good lead on gatorback bunk covers?

Removed the axle, hangers, etc from the trailer tonight. WOW! What a job. Fought and fought with trying to remove the nuts from plates, trying to salvage the u-bolts. Gave up, got out the recipe saw, with a good metal blade, five minutes later I was done.

The other night, I scraped on the wheels. Trying to remove some of the rust on the chrome, and 83.5 layers of grease, grime, etc from the insides of the wheels. Hopefully the pictures show the difference. Still have a ways to go.
FYI - magic erasers remove rust . Although, it takes ALOT of elbow grease.

Took a wire wheel to the trailer, a scraper where the wheel wouldn't reach. I'm sure I missed some. Vacuumed up WAY too much rust and paint chips off the floor. WOW, was the dust flying! Wiped it down with 50/50 acetone and mineral spirits.
Got some new u-bolts for the axle, shackles and bushings.
Shot a coat of Rust-Oleum rust stopper on it tonight.
Stops Rust Rusty Metal Primer Spray Paint
With any luck, will get paint on it tomorrow. My compressor did quite well, at least I thought so. My biggest problem? I had put two plastic drop cloths down, to protect the concrete floor, what a pain! Once they got paint on them, Everytime I stepped on them, they stuck too my shoes and went with me! I would've been done a lot sooner, if not for that.
Draped drop cloths over the frame, for a pop-up shelter, too help with overspray. Make SURE you wrap the legs of the frame!!!! Just slide it forward or backwards as you go. Buddies idea, not mine, made for a quick "spray booth", if you will.

Last night, while in bed and after the stores closed, I realized - I didn't buy paint for the trailer! What a rookie!!!
Did some prep work until store opened, acquired some cardboard, to use instead of plastic drop cloth on the floor. It went much better!!
After now having used an hvlp gun, rattle cans are horrible! I'd cleaned the gun up, then realized I hadn't flipped the axle, springs, etc. Oh well I thought, I have some white rattle cans. There's more runs, missed spots, etc. Had go back and do them again. I don't think I had but one run with the hvlp gun.
Hopefully get the 2cnd coat in tomorrow. Then get it put back together, and resume on the boat.

Running gear is back on the trailer, with any luck I got it halfway lined up! First trip down the highway will reveal that. New rollers on, wiring, lights, added a few lights on the sides. Backup lights added. New winch. Couldn't find same size u-bolts, for the winch stand, had to modify, by cutting new threads. Bunk boards are cut, and painted. Gonna be a surprise with those later, stay tuned!
Left to do for the trailer - Side boards are cut, need to carpet them. Need to get some metal and carpet it, for the inner wheel well covers. Pin striping. New tires.

Went with clear, recessed an led strip in the top of the bunk, will put them on a switch on the trailer. Strips weren't long enough for the whole bunk, this will have to do.
Hopefully, one night this week I can cut and mount them.

A little more progress. White paint, with a red accent, in approximately the same spot as the former accent panel. Had some overspray from the red to deal with, didn't cover the hull like I should've, oh well - live and learn! Some rubbing compound took care of most of it.

Got some red trim on the trailer, more coming. It's not the straightest trim job, at this point, I just want it done!
