Looking at R&R or Shuttleslide, anyone have opinions? I dont like the overhang on my xi3.

I have the R&R on my boat for a 112 Terrova. I’m pretty satisfied with it. Seemed to be the best option on the market since MK stopped making the MKA-47 and Skeeter has been including them on their multi species boats as a factory option since 2013. Weighs about 15lbs and is solid. Mine chattered a bit at higher TM speeds so I put a couple small pieces of heavy duty Velcro soft loop material between the plates and it took up the little bit of play that was just big enough to make it rattle. Photos below for reference.

Thanks for that. I’m going to order one Monday, is the r&r worth the extra $60 over the shuttleslide?

Can’t answer that one. When I ordered mine I saw several reviews of the R&R on bass fishing forums and knew that Skeeter was installing them as a factory option on their MX and WX lines. R&R allows for about 7” of rearward slide and is heavy duty. Shuttleslide didn’t even hit my radar last year so they must be a brand new company or product. Lift Master and Sidemaxx were the other two mounts that I considered. Still would have went with the old MK mount if they hadn’t discontinued it.
